Japan is back on the tourist map

The number of foreign visitors to Japan in 2012 surged 34.6 per cent from the previous year as the tourism sector rebounded after the 2011 tsunami and nuclear disaster, the government said this month.

Overseas arrivals totaled more than 8.3 million, just short of the record 8.6 million seen in 2010, the Japan National Tourism Organisation said.

    After a long and thorough research after the Fukushima nuke accident, it was found that there was no health hazard of the accident to their people. The number of the foreign visiter is back to what is was before the accident. Let’s go to Japan and praise their hard work in recovery!!
