Poseidon Undersea Resort is planning to open a 5-star underwater hotel in the crystal clear waters of a lagoon near a coral reef at one of Fiji Islands. There will be 24 rooms on the seabed in 12 meters depth. The hotel is mostly made of acrylic plastic which guarantees a phenomenal view of the fish life. Rooms are modules that are connected to a corridor, a large tube. It looks like a string of transparent bubbles.
Guests get there via an underwater lift. Preliminary advertising is a couple of nights on the ground as part of a package tour to the island offering diving, wine tasting and other activities. Price per person is, according to various reports, 15 000 dollars per person.
