Sunblock and Whitening lotion

Asians want to remain pale while Westerners like to get a tan. The most sold beach products in Asia are Sunblock (factor 100), Whitening after-sun lotion and umbrellas.

The Bulusan volcano in the Philippines forcing thousands to flee

The Bulusan volcano in the Philippines erupted yesterday forcing thousands of people to flee their homes.

The 1,559-metre Bulusan volcano erupted mid-day, shooting a column of ash into the sky for approximately 20-minutes.  An estimated 2,000-residents were evacuated from three farming villages in the surrounding area and the government banned people from within four kilometres of the crater. Airplanes are advised to avoid the skies over Bulusan.

Bulusan is generally known for its sudden steam-driven or phreatic explosions. It is one of the most active volcanos in the Philippines, and after Mayon, Taal and Pinatubo is considered the 4th most active, having erupted 15 times since 1886.
